7.Power Plant # 7: 350 MWp Solar Photovoltaic (PV) at Scatec’s Power Plant in Qena :
(Electro-Mechanical Installations & Commissioning).
Five Builders has successfully installed and commissioned one third of Scatec’s 1.1 GW utility-scale solar PV plant with a 100 MW / 200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Qena Governorate, Egypt. This project is considered one of Africa’s largest hybrid renewable energy projects. It will provide more than 3 TWh of clean electricity annually, improve grid stability, and support Egypt’s transition to a more sustainable and low-carbon energy sector.
